Планую вступити до закордонного ВУЗу в аспірантуру, але він доволі не стандартний, тому надіюсь на вашу допомогу.

за цим же посиланням можна побачити що він акредитований великою кількістю різних організацій, але немає розуміння чи він акредитований якоюсь окремою країною (є лише рішення, що він зареєстрований як компанія).
З іншої сторони, цей університет є партнером одного каліфорнійського вузу, який може привести у відповідність диплом, виданий Selinus university.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) - Philosophiae Doctor or Doctor Philosophiae in Latin - is the highest academic degree obtainable. It can usually cover any academic programs. As graduate researchers, Ph.D. students are usually required to show competence, master their research topic and carry out an original thesis, so as to foster new academic contributions in their knowledge field. Therefore, students are allowed to reach a deep specialized knowledge and specific expertise they will display in their doctoral thesis defense.

The distance learning Ph.D. is earned after successfully completing and defending the final doctoral thesis in the academic major that has been chosen. Specific Ph.D. degrees like Doctor of Science (DS), Medical Doctor (MD), Juris Doctor (JD) are primarily grounded on laboratory research and empirical investigation. These doctorates are successfully achieved after several years of laboratory experience or professional practice among other requirements. Therefore, they are not available in Selinus University, since it should be quite clear that any laboratory method or professional practice cannot occur online or through any distance learning system.

Unlike any other traditional campus-based Ph.D., Selinus University’s Ph.D. by Research does not consist of any coursework, classes or lectures to attend, either on campus or online. Rather, it is based on independent and autonomous theoretical research on a specific academic area that the student has to carry out and implement in a final thesis.

The program has no minimum duration, whereas a maximum duration of 24 months. It does not have any intake or admission deadline; therefore, students can apply any time of the year.

In order to be eligible for the program, students need to possess a Master`s degree or equivalent and be at least 30 years old.

Stress is given to independence during study and research, which is why student’s supervisors will not actually be tutors as in common understanding, but rather specialized consultants at their service. The student can use both textbooks and the Internet for research purposes, besides having access to our online library. Working freely and independently on their research, students will grow highly specialized knowledge and specific expertise they will display in their doctoral thesis defense.

The main requirement for a distance learning Ph.D. by Research is to submit and defend the final thesis, which is required to have a minimum length of at least 90/100 pages. After the submission, it will be reviewed and evaluated by Selinus University’s academic committee. In some cases, previous candidate’s publications may be relevant for Ph.D. purposes.

As we are a distance learning university and our students come from all over the world, the thesis defense can be either a written file or a recorded audio or video presentation, either of which has to be submitted by email after the thesis approval.

1. If your Specialist Diploma is equivalent to a Master`s degree, it is sufficient for you to provide us with a copy of it via email, and no additional or special procedure is required. (тут я їм пояснював що в мене диплом спеціаліста, який прирівняний до магістра).

2. We can issue an official letter, stamped and signed, where we confirm that you are enrolled in our program and are pursuing your degree. Please be reminded, though, that we are a distance learning university and thus we operate exclusively online, not requiring on-site or in person attendance of any kind.

3. With regard to our admission terms, as mentioned in our previous email, the criteria to be eligible for the program consist in possessing a Master`s degree or equivalent and being at least 30 years old. Since there are no admission or intake deadlines, students can apply to enroll anytime.

4. The program has no minimum duration, whereas a maximum duration of 24 months. Therefore, it`s up to each student to decide when to complete and end the program, as long as it`s within 2 years since enrollment. In order to complete the program, the candidate has to fulfill three requirements: (a) submit his/her final thesis and have it approved; (b) submit his/her thesis defense, either in written for or by the means of an audio/video presentation; (c) pay in full his/her tuition fees. Once all of these requirements are met, the student can access the first graduation session available.
